Leatherman Wingman Best Multi-ToolsThe Leatherman Wingman Multi-Tool gets its name for a good reason. While it may fail at helping you find gals at the bar, in sticky situations it passes with flying colors. With its variety of useful attachments, it can cut, screw, securely hold anything you might need, and more. It useful for those little jobs around the house, when you are out camping, and on your world travels.

At 6.9 ounces, the lightweight, pocket-sized multi-tool is perfect for keeping in your backpack or about your person until called upon. The entire tool is made from stainless steel, which is strong enough to endure lots of use, and all of Leatherman’s multi-tool products comes with a 25-year warranty.

Inside the Wingman Multi-Tool’s arsenal, you’ll find spring-action needle nose pliers, regular pliers, spring-action wire cutters, scissors, wire strippers, a package opener, a bottle opener, a wood/metal file, a ruler, both a medium and a small Phillips screwdriver, and, of course, a trusty knife. The sizable 2.6-inch blade has a lock that allows you to cut in confidence without fear of the blade slipping, as can happen with competing pocket knives.

You can choose to purchase the multi-tool with an included nylon case, which is ideal for those who prefer to carry a knife about their person on a belt or a bag clip, or without one to save a little cash. In addition, the Wingman’s design has been tailored to allow for easier one-handed access to all of its tools, great for times when you simply can’t spare a second. So if you like to know that you’re always prepared in those “Does anyone have a… ?” moments, this impressive Wingman Multi-Tool could be just the thing for you.

It does have a
slight downside though, in the fact that you must always remember to put the Wingman Multi-Tool into your checked luggage. The blade size means it cannot travel in your carry-on bag. This is true of pretty much every bladed multi-tool, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
